Modern Inventory Management and Spares Modeling

TFD Group Announces a New Seminar “Modern Inventory Management and Spares Modeling"

Monterey, CA (April 10, 2007) - TFD Group announces its latest cutting edge seminar addressing the recent advances in spares management and modeling which are changing the supply chain management landscape.    The course is aimed at senior management.  Although the topics are frequently technical and some mathematical and modeling background will be useful, it is not necessary.  “This seminar has been created to inform senior management of the most recent advances affecting inventory management and spares modeling and assist in improving the creation and management of the simplest or most complex supply chain” said Robert Butler, CEO of TFD Group.

The seminar staff is led by Robert Butler, who is the author of many of the company’s software models, including, in partnership with Craig Sherbrooke and John Millhouse, the VMetric model.  John Millhouse, TFD Group’s Chief Scientist, has also authored the software model TORQ, which is the computational heart of our Support Chain Optimization system.  Kevin Griffiths, TFD Group’s CTO, is the chief architect of the TFD Data Vault and is largely responsible for developing TFD’s software training courses.  Chris Hampson has been a skilled user of VMetric for many years and in a variety of settings.
