U.S. Army Awards the Abrams Combination Point-to-Point Wiring & Signal Tracing Contract to EM&TS


U.S. Army PEOSTRI/ TACOM Awards the Abrams M1A1 AIM ED / M1A2 SEP Combination Point-to-Point Wiring & Signal Tracing Contract
to Electronic Maintenance & Training Systems Division (EM&TS)
of TFD GROUP



Monterey, CA (March 05, 2007) - TFD Group has been awarded the Abrams M1A1 AIM and the M1A2 SEP Combination Point-to-Point Wiring & Signal Tracing contract. In accordance with the contract, this combined system will provide a combination troubleshooting and training tool which will be used by Abrams maintainers throughout the U.S. Army.

"The mission critical responsibilities of increasing combat effectiveness make the scope and magnitude of the U.S. Army TACOM Point-to-Point Wiring & Signal Tracing network a valuable asset" said Robert Butler, CEO of TFD Group.


"We were called upon to deliver a comprehensive software solution that would take all the electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematics that are associated with the Abrams A1 and A2 tanks, and would provide the user with a comprehensive and intuitive troubleshooting and training tool. The new software will allow maintainers s at all levels to reduce meantime to repair (MTTR) as well as enhance operational readiness capabilities" Butler concluded.
