This all-new two and a half day workshop is a must for anyone involved in Performance Based Logistics, either as an operator or a support provider. Contracting methods and directives will change frequently for some time to come. However, if you understand the principles underlying these initiatives, you will be poised for success in procuring or providing world class support. Whether you are involved in an on-going program or initiating a new one, this workshop will explore and elucidate the central ideas, risks and approaches necessary to forge successful PBL Relationships.
Make no mistakes: this is not just a passing fad or the topic of the hour. PBL is the culmination of thirty years of evolving effort by the US DoD to improve both the efficiency and effectiveness of support for complex weapon systems. PBL offers great opportunities for support providers as well as the key to seamless, world class support for the war fighter. Those who make the effort to understand and embrace it will be the leaders of the next round of system support improvement, and those who do not will languish.
The workshop is conducted in an informal atmosphere. You are invited to discuss specific programs in your experience with other participants. The sessions begin at 9:00 AM and run until 4:00 PM with breaks for refreshments and lunch.
